Project Showcase

The Hakai Institute conducts large-scale science in partnership with government agencies, universities, First Nations, businesses, and local communities.

Located in the rich coastal habitat of British Columbia, Canada, we bring our robust research capacity and technical expertise to bear on projects related to marine ecology, biodiversity genomics, watershed dynamics and ocean observation. Some representative projects are featured below.
